Hello everyone! My name is Chris Burleigh. I am an artist and a new nature photographer. I have a passion for music and especially photography. I enjoy all art though as to me it is an expression of ones self. I especially like photography because it is capturing a moment of time. Photography has definitely made me more aware of my surroundings. So many people pass up beauty all around them every day! There is so much beauty in this world weather huge or tiny. I have posted this to a couple of people already but I thought this should be in my Bio; But how many people do you know think about a raindrop when it hits them as beautiful. But you capture a raindrop falling or splashing and show those same people they will be "oh that's beautiful!" . My goal is to become a professional photographer and show others the beauty in this world. To eventually start my own business and provide others with a way to capture their memories in good quality fine art photography. To provide any photography services needed to help them enjoy the beauty around them and capture their memories.

I am originally from Louisiana but I lived in Washington State since 2004 until Jan 2013. I was in the Army Infantry and that is what brought me there. Now I reside in Arecibo, Puerto rico with my beautiful Fiance!

I currently shoot with a Nikon D3100 with either the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR Kit lens, the Nikon 55-300mm AF-S f/4.5-5.6G DX Nikkor ED VR Telephoto Zoom Lens, or the 50mm f/1.4D AF Nikkor Lens.

I am currently a student of New York Institute of Photography. Although with life changes and a current move to Puerto Rico that is temporarily on hold.
